Zoom Integration Guide#

Learn how to connect, use, and manage the JOVAI Zoom integration.

Overview#

The JOVAI Zoom integration connects your Zoom account to the JOVAI platform, enabling automated meeting scheduling, calendar synchronization, and AI-powered meeting preparation.

Adding the App#

From the Zoom App Marketplace#

  1. Visit the Zoom App Marketplace and search for JOVAI
  2. Click Add to begin the authorization process
  3. Sign in with your Zoom account if prompted
  4. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize
  5. You will be redirected to the JOVAI platform to complete the connection

From the JOVAI Platform#

  1. Log in to your JOVAI workspace at app.jov.ai
  2. Navigate to Integrations and select Zoom
  3. Click Connect Zoom Account
  4. You will be redirected to Zoom to authorize the connection
  5. After authorization, you will be returned to the JOVAI platform

What the Integration Does#

Once connected, the JOVAI Zoom integration provides:

  • Calendar Sync: Your Zoom meetings are synchronized with the JOVAI platform for a unified view of your schedule
  • Meeting Scheduling: Schedule Zoom meetings directly through the JOVAI platform
  • Meeting Preparation: AI-powered meeting prep that pulls context from your upcoming Zoom meetings

Permissions#

The JOVAI Zoom integration requests the following permissions:

  • View your meetings: To display and sync your meeting schedule
  • Manage your meetings: To create and update meetings on your behalf
  • View your user profile: To associate your Zoom identity with your JOVAI account

We only access the data necessary to provide the integration features described above.

Data Handling#

  • OAuth tokens are stored securely on the JOVAI platform with appropriate access controls
  • Meeting data accessed through the integration is used only within your JOVAI workspace
  • We do not share your Zoom data with third parties

Removing the App#

From Zoom#

  1. Sign in to your Zoom account at zoom.us
  2. Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace
  3. Click Manage > Installed Apps
  4. Find JOVAI in your installed apps list
  5. Click Uninstall

From the JOVAI Platform#

  1. Log in to your JOVAI workspace at app.jov.ai
  2. Navigate to Integrations and select Zoom
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Your Zoom OAuth tokens will be deleted from the JOVAI platform

After removing the app, JOVAI will no longer have access to your Zoom account data.

Troubleshooting#

Authorization fails or times out Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt the connection again. Ensure you are signed in to the correct Zoom account.

Meetings not syncing Verify that the integration is still connected by checking your integrations page in the JOVAI platform. If the connection has expired, disconnect and reconnect.
